Early work in IronCAD 2.0- learning the program |
|
| Here's the first model I built. It took a couple hours to make after I'd spent 5 or 6 hours learning the program. Click to view a 20k VRML model of this fireplace. | ![]() |

The following two images link to VRML models. This is still within the first 20 hours of using IronCAD. |

| The VRML model of this fireplace is 75k, so allow time for it to load | The VRML bench model is 32k. It is a preliminary design concept, I plopped a cylinder on the right side with an image of a gargoyle as a quick representation of the placement of a carved squatting gargoyle. |

Getting better: this one took about 4 hours, one month into using IronCAD. The VRML model is about 30k. |
|
Here's the big one: a massive column fireplace. The other models were exercises- this is a real project. The VRML is around 100k, so give it time to load. |

This
gothic window took only minutes to assemble. I had created the basic
shape earlier, as an extrude (it's used in the Tudor fireplace above).
With face editing and copying, the assembly was very fast. The VRML is
25k, worth a quick look- particularly look at how the moldings meet at
the corners and the sill. |
