Childrens Drinking Fountain

They fly, they crawl, they slither... life emerges from the rock.

Seahorse I've probably carved enough different animals to occupy a small Ark. This turtle drinking fountain is in Goudy Square Park, Astor and Goethe streets, on Chicago's near North side. It is shown in the winter, and in the summer with children drinking from it. Carved from limestone, various sea creatures including a sea horse and fish are incised around the bowl. There are three bronze spigots - a fish, a frog, and a water lily.

These monkeys are at Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo. I carved Zoo Monkeys two sets, greeting visitors to the North and South entrys of the Helen Brach Primate House. Each panel is 2' wide and 6' high, and are part of a 6' by 12' carved limestone surround.

This lion and the frog are spitting water because they are part of a 9 foot tall fountain. More on the fountain can be found in my Public Sculpture page.
