Cappuccini and an espresso prepared by "Il re del Cappuccino" (The King of Cappuccino) Umberto Galligani of Monsummano Terme, Tuscany. On this rainy, foggy day we toured the medieval hill town of Volterra, center of alabaster work.

It houses over 300 beautiful alabaster objects. |
Many pieces in the collection feature wonderful grotesque masques, including the intricately carved vases with dragons entwined in the filligree tops.
