Description: These mini gargoyles are based on ones perched on the University of Chicago's Cobb Gate. Those gargoyles represent the journey taken at the University, and by analogy, the journey we all take in life. The fierce admissions officers guard the portals; the timid Freshman starts the climb, gaining confidence and wisdom through the Sophomore and Junior years. Finally, the triumphant Graduate spreads its wings, taking off to conquer the world.
