The Gargoyles and Grotesques of San Diego:

Balboa Park is the largest urban park in the United States. The park
itself covers 1200 acres, and the San Diego Zoo is another 600 or 700 acres. The buildings were constructed for the 1915 California Panama exposition. | |||

These bronzes are near the Gorilla house. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any
signature or anything crediting the sculptor who created these pieces. That is all too common in public art; credit is given to everyone involved except the artist. |
