Lecce, in Puglia in the south of Italy, is famous for it's wondeful take on baroque architecture
carved in the warm beige local limestone. The buildings are covered with Gargoyles Grotesques and Cherubs

The inscriptions are a bit difficult to decipher, but they are wonderful to look at.
