Walter S. Arnold creates these unique mantelpieces in any style, from classical to Tudor, Baroque to contemporary. Each fireplace is custom carved from natural stone or marble. These are not "cast stone" (which is precast concrete with stone dust mixed in) or "cultured marble" (a polymer, which is a plastic or fiberglass like material). Prices are not listed because this work is not standardized or mass produced. Every home is different and every block of stone is different. A unique new design can be created for your home, or an existing design can be modified, customized, and carved in different sizes or types of stone.
