Care and feeding of gargoyles: My cast sculptures are made of a durable indoor/outdoor resin. They should give you many years of pleasure. I recommend you bring them indoors during the winter. If you leave them out, give them a bath in the spring with lukewarm water and mild dish soap. Do not use abrasive material- a sponge or soft cloth is fine. Protect them from ice and frost.
Ordering instructions: We use Paypal for secure order processing. All data sent through the order form is encrypted for security. If you are uncomfortable sending your credit card information on the Internet, you can order off-line (see below). Please contact us at the address at the bottom of this page if you have any questions or concerns. If you find items you wish to buy, simply add them to your order selection. At any time you can check your order or remove items from it. When you are ready to purchase, proceed to the paypal checkout form, where you will have the option of using your Paypal account or your own credit card. After you make your purchase, you will see a receipt. Please print out the receipt that appears on your browser. You will need this to verify your order when you receive your shipment. Inspect the items when you receive them. We will replace any item which arrives damaged.
Gift orders: You can place an order as a gift, to be shipped to a different address. We will enclose a gift card. When you confirm the order on Paypal you will have the option to change the shipping address, and be sure to use the "special instructions" box to tell us what to write on the gift card.
Site Security: Secure encryption ensured by the Starfield Secure Certificate. When you're in a secure page, you can double click the little padlock icon on the bottom edge of the browser to view the certificate.
Ordering Off-Line: If you wish to order by fax or send a check or credit card information, print out the order form, and include payment info. (call us at 847-568-1188 or e-mail to ask our fax number, or send it by snail mail). Our address is at the bottom of this page. You can also phone us, or e-mail with your phone number and we'll call you.
Shipping info: Standard shipping is by Fedex Ground, and we usually ship within one to two business days of receiving the order. On occasion we also ship UPS ground or U.S. Post Office Priority Mail, with tracking. We try to keep all items in stock. Out of stock items or special orders may take two to three weeks for delivery. Upon shipment we will e-mail you with the tracking number. You can then track the shipment at the Fedex , UPS or U.S. Post Office web site. Contact us about rush or international shipments. We try our best to accommodate your needs.
Shipping changes and tax: Shipping and Handling charges (S&H) are listed for each item. There is a minimum of $6 per order, with the exception of the book Staglieno, The Art of the Marble Carver, wich is $3 S&H. Illinois residents will be charged 7% sales tax. Inquire about shipping discount on orders of multiple pieces. We do ship internationally; e-mail us for shipping costs.
E-Mail privacy: We use your e-mail address only to confirm order and shipping, and to respond to your questions. Your E-mail address will be kept confidential and never used for spamming or given out to anyone else. Our postcard section does not save or collect e-mail addresses. Our newsletter uses strict opt-in with confirmation, meaning you have to sign and then confirm you want to receive it; you will then be able to unsubscribe at any time. Addresses subscribed to the newsletter will not be used for anything else. Site traffic logs are only very general, Walter uses them to get an overall picture of page traffic.

Return Policy: Damaged items: We will replace items which arrive damaged, including shipping, as long as we are notified within 48 hours of receipt by e-mail, phone, or fax. Returns or Exchanges: Any other returns will require 15% restocking fee. We must be notified within 7 days, and item returned within 15 days of receipt. Returned items must be in resalable condition. We do not pay for shipping charges on returns or exchanges unless we have made a shipping error.
